Craig Gainsborough

Independent Producer & Greenlit Founder

Craig is an independent producer, having most recently won a 2022 International Emmy for the production of Rūrangi.

Prior to working as an independent producer, Craig worked as an Executive Producer for NZ Media & Entertainment, Senior Producer for WPP-owned brand agency Designworks, and produced TV commercials for 10 years. Beyond his creative work, Craig is completing his latest degree, a Masters in commercial law.

Craig is also the Founder and Chair of Greenlit. Greenlit is an industry-led screen environmental sustainability organization that supports productions in Aotearoa to implement sustainable production practices - including its recently launched Carbon Calculator.
