Spada welcomes membership applications from producers, production companies, and screen industry service businesses. There are three membership categories – producer, service business, and youth/student. Each category has its own set of criteria. There is also a TVC category.
Before signing up, it’s important to carefully read the obligations that apply to all Spada Members:
If you meet the criteria and agree to the associated membership responsibilities, please fill out the membership application form and email it to the Spada Office.
Following acceptance of your membership application* you will receive an invoice for your 12-month Spada Membership, including details for payment.

PRODUCER
Being an individual or a company with at least one producer credit for the creation of film, television, or interactive media production. Credits must have received a broadcast, theatrical, or online release. Broadcast credits must be no less than 30 minutes, and theatrical credits must be no less than 50 minutes. Producer members have voting rights.
There are four membership types under this category:
SERVICE BUSINESSES
Being a business that provides services to screen production companies including lawyers, accountants, completion guarantors, insurance companies, and film distributors. This category does not have voting rights.

YOUTH/STUDENT
For emerging producers under 25 years of age, and full-time students. Please include proof of age or student status with your application form.
