2022 SPADA SCREEN INDUSTRY SUMMIT

* FULL DRAFT PROGRAMME ANNOUNCED *

Communicate, Collaborate, Celebrate

After a couple of years of false starts and abridged versions of the SPADA Conference, New Zealand's screen producers' guild SPADA is excited at the prospect of bringing Aotearoa's screen industry together to discuss key issues, celebrate achievements, and share recent experiences across the sector.

This year's one-day SPADA Summit will host industry panels addressing the major topics, along with longer breaks designed to allow space for conversation and connection. The programme will include a presentation of NZ On Air's transitional strategy, discussion of the NZ Screen Production Grant review as well as a panel session on the impact of Aotearoa New Zealand Public Media, the new public media entity.  The 2022 NZ On Air John O'Shea address will be delivered by veteran children's content producer Janine Morrell-Gunn who is also being inducted as the 2022 TV Legend the night before the Summit at this year's NZ Television Awards.
