COVID-19 Update 01 Sept 2021: New Alert Levels Announced
Auckland and Northland are at Alert Level 4
Rest of New Zealand is at Alert Level 3

Auckland and Northland remain at Alert Level 4 (Alert level to be reviewed 13 September 2021)
All of New Zealand south of Auckland moves to Alert Level 3 (Alert level to be reviewed 6 September 2021)

Key points:
- There are now 687 cases in the community, including confirmed cases in Auckland and Wellington.
- There are 32 people in the hospital. Eight are in intensive care and three are on ventilation
- Locations of Interest - Please stay familiar with the locations of interest, and take any action required if you have visited a location of interest at the same time as a confirmed case.
- People throughout the country are reminded to get tested should they experience any symptoms of COVID-19
