COVID-19 Alert Level Changes

Auckland is now at Alert Level 3 until midnight Wednesday 17 February. The rest of New Zealand is at Alert Level 2 for the same period.

Three positive cases of the UK variant of COVID-19 have been detected outside of managed isolation facilities, resulting in the above Alert Level changes. Ardern said the alert change came out of an abundance of caution and would be reviewed every 24 hours.
