Nominations are now open for the 2021 SPADA Screen Industry Awards! 

SPADA continues its long-standing tradition of shining a light on some of the many inspiring, talented and driven people who work in our screen industry. The SPADA Screen Industry Awards are a unique opportunity for us to gather and acknowledge some of our sector's talent and creativity. They are open to the wider industry, except the Independent Producer of the Year Award, which is open to SPADA members only. 

The 24th Annual SPADA Screen Industry Awards include:

• The New Filmmaker of the Year Award - sponsored by Fulcrum Media Finance: Honouring excellence, talent and creativity in filmmaking

  • (DEADLINE: 5:00PM Monday 11 October 2021)  

• The Independent Producer Award - sponsored by Crombie Lockwood - Celebrating outstanding contribution as an independent producer in the last calendar year 

  • (DEADLINE: 5:00PM Monday 11 October 2021)  

• The Industry Champion Award - sponsored by SPADA and DATA BOOK - Demonstrating passion and professionalism in making a significant contribution to the New Zealand screen production industry  

  • (DEADLINE: 5:00PM Monday 11 October 2021)
