Series Producer - 'The Secret Life of Girls' and 'Eat Well for Less'

Dominic Smith is a BBC-trained Television Series Producer specializing in developing original, visually-arresting, popular factual and entertainment programming.  He emigrated to New Zealand in 2011.

Recent work includes Series Producing ‘The Secret Life Of Girls’ (Screentime for TVNZ1), ‘Face The Classroom’ (Screentime for TVNZ1), ‘Spellbound’ (Greenstone for TVNZ1), ‘Wife Swap’ (Screentime for TVNZ2) and the upcoming ‘Eat Well For Less’ (Screentime for TVNZ1).

Whilst at the BBC he developed award-winning formats and produced a wide range of shows including ‘Top Of The Pops’, ‘The Royal Variety Performance’, ‘The Eurovision Song Contest’ and the Emmy Award-winning ‘How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?  He also had Producing roles on ‘The Voice Australia’ and ‘The Real Housewives Of Melbourne’ (but asks that you keep that to yourself please). 

Dominic failed ‘O’ Level Physics and didn’t turn up for his Chemistry exam (“it was a particularly hot Summer to be fair”). Despite this he appears at the SPADA Conference on the 'Alchemy of Science on Screen' panel.
